Lost a golf club in Austin?

Austin's golf scene has grown quickly alongside the city, which produces a distinctive mix: long-standing local players alongside a large influx of newer residents and a busy corporate scene tied to the technology industry. Newer players and company events both mean rounds on unfamiliar courses without established routines. Add the Texas summer, which pushes tee times to the edges of the day, and the hill country west of the city, where the ground is anything but flat.

Where clubs go missing here

On the hill country courses, where terrain puts distance between the cart path and the ball. At client and company rounds, where bags are handled centrally. And at early and late tee times in summer, when the light is poor.

I'm fairly new to golf and don't know what half my clubs are called.

Is this only for expensive clubs?
No. People file everything from single wedges to full bags, and value has nothing to do with it.
