Where are golf bags most often found?
In clubhouse storage, at the driving range, in the cart area, or in the parking lot. Some clubs hold on to found bags for up to 3 months.
What is a golf bag with clubs worth?
Depending on the equipment, a full set with bag is worth €500–€5,000. Be sure to report it and check with your insurer.
Is a golf bag covered by insurance?
Often, yes — if it was stolen from a car (auto insurance) or from the clubhouse (homeowners or renters insurance with off-premises coverage). Check your policy.
What if my bag was lost while traveling?
If you flew, report it right away at the airline’s baggage service office at the airport (you’ll get a Property Irregularity Report, or PIR) and contact the airline. Check your travel insurance, too.
