That seasonal spike brings a wave of visitors who often combine a tournament trip with rounds of their own at courses they'll never revisit. The rest of the year is a solid, humid, mostly local market. The spike is what produces the lasting losses: a concentrated burst of one-time visitors, all of them heading home within days.

Where clubs go missing here

In vacation rentals and hotels during the spring peak, when visitors stay a week and store equipment between rounds. At courses seeing one-time visitors in volume, where nobody recognizes whose bag is whose. And in carts, standard in the Georgia heat.
