Tips after losing a golf club
Frequently asked questions
What should I do if I’ve lost a golf club?
Report it right away. The sooner your report is in, the better your chances of getting the club back. Also check with the pro shop and look in the lost and found. On FindYourGolfClub, your report is automatically compared with every found-club report.
Is reporting really free?
Yes, completely free — no account, no subscription, no hidden costs.
How long does my report stay active?
Your report stays active for 360 days and then closes automatically. You can withdraw it yourself at any time.
What happens to my email address?
Your email address is never shown on the site. We only write to you about your own report, for example a confirmation when you send it, short updates after 3, 7 and 30 days while there’s no match, and a reminder before the report closes after 360 days. You can turn the updates off. If there’s a match, you get the match email and then notices about new chat messages.
Can I report an entire golf bag?
Yes. Just select “Bag” as the club type in the form.
What happens when my club turns up?
You get an email with a link. Before anyone arranges a handover, you describe your club in your own words, for example a scratch on the face or initials on the shaft. The finder or the pro shop compares that with the club in front of them and decides. You get three tries. Once they confirm, the chat opens so you can arrange the return. If you pick it up at a club office, bring a photo ID.
