Tips after finding a golf club
Frequently asked questions
What should I do if I’ve found a golf club?
Turn the club in at the pro shop and report it on FindYourGolfClub, too. That greatly improves the chances of finding the owner, because your report is automatically compared with every lost-club report.
Do I have to give my name?
No. We only store your email address so we can write to you about your report. The owner never sees it.
What if no owner is found?
After 360 days, the report closes automatically. You can also withdraw it yourself at any time.
Can I keep the club until the owner contacts me?
Ideally, turn it in at the pro shop. If that’s not possible, keep it somewhere safe and report it here so the owner has a chance to get it back.
Can I report an entire golf bag or multiple clubs?
For a full bag, select “Bag” as the club type. For several individual clubs, please submit a separate report for each one.
How do I know it’s really the owner?
When a lost-club report matches yours, the golfer first has to describe how to recognize the club. They don’t get to see your photo. You compare their description with the club and decide. They get three tries, and the chat only opens once you confirm.
